The goal of Transformative: Campaign for Global Change is inherent within its name: to transform Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as a worldwide leader within the fields of STEM. In my role, I manage and develop a variety of research-focused programs that are specifically created for Institute alumni in the West Coast & Mid-Atlantic (US), Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. These programs include a variety of research panels, forums, and galas, occurring in places like Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Stuttgart (see samples below).

I’m also a strategy co-lead for multiple regional teams which help to identify, cultivate, and solicit key alumni prospects within each key region. These collaborative efforts have resulted in $500+ million being raised towards the Institute's current $1 billion capital campaign.

Campaign: Online Master of Arts in Teaching Program

 

In my role at Creative Communication Associates (CCA), one of the nation’s leading marketing agencies for higher education, my role was to brainstorm, develop, and launch marketing campaigns through effective collaboration with both clients and our internal creative team. The campaigns I helped to oversee involved top tier universities on the East Coast, including the world-renowned New York University (NYU). Our team’s work with NYU included the launching of a full spread of material and digital assets, including new information / application websites, conversion & SEO pages, “sizzle” reels, printed posters, and more (see below).

My daily collaboration with colleagues in California, Arizona, and Colorado allowed me to gain deep insight into the world of marketing analytics (and more importantly, how to act on them). By constantly monitoring engagement metrics and trends, I kept our team agile and able to adjust on-the-fly, resulting in greatly improved conversion rates and revenue generation.

Revitalized published marketing materials that help to better promote UAlbany's 130+ study abroad options.  Created a standardized flyer template that leverages the university's brand, while incorporating design elements that reflect the unique nature of each individual overseas program.

Created a variety of banner images for the UAlbany Study Abroad & Exchanges homepage, helping to drive web traffic towards featured overseas programs sponsored by the university.

Managed the redesign and implementation of new website for UAlbany Study Abroad & Exchanges.  Overhauled standard template issued by the university to include more modern and interactive features, such as video and photo lightboxes.  

Integrated unique interactive map showcasing all overseas options sponsored by the university, which was designed in conjunction with Carlos Moreira.  Created cutting-edge admin panel using AngularJS as a content management system, created in collaboration with Overit and Alex Muro.  Finalized site design changes on UAlbany's application site hosted by Terra Dotta Software: ualbany.studioabroad.com

 
 
 
 

 

new STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM DIRECTORY for the State University of new york (SUNY)

Oversaw the strategy, development, and launch of a new study abroad program directory for SUNY, a website representing all 1,600+ international opportunities currently offered by the 65 campuses within the State of New York. Collaborated intensively with Overit over the course of multiple years to develop study abroad app, including an interactive map, filterable content, multimedia display, and technology integration within the SUNY website mainframe; drawing displayed fields from multiple several legacy database sources. Helped to create thousands of new leads and conversions for all SUNY campuses since the website’s launch in 2016.

Coordinated, promoted, and executed various events in conjunction with UAlbany Study Abroad & Exchanges and WCDB 90.9 FM.  Advertised each event in a variety of ways, including via social media, radio announcements, and targeted flyer campaigns.  Ensured high rates of attendance, with a range of 70-250 attendees present per event.
